I'm running 5950x with 7900xtx 64gb 3600mhz ram.
I have even reported the bug to AMD since I get a Report tool upon crash. I have both Overclocked.
Is the only game I have issues with Star Citizen smooth 60+ fps
edit: crashed again on second lap of practice on a race. I didn't DDU to install the new driver unless that was needed
samething, didn't even play for 1h, 4 crashes. Guess I'll wait a few weeks before trying again...
(im on gamepass btw lol, but here is better do discuss stuff)
haha you're probs winning besides the fact you didn't get to play any early access time if you didn't buy the premium add-on pack etc
I was gonna do game pass + premium add ons but looks like it was MS store only and I wanted to own on Steam. Sort of makes sense I guess
Just thought the game would work out a little cheaper buying the top version outright if I plan to play for more than 6 months or a year
It helped with my crashes, 7900XTX.
This fix works for 95% of us having the game crash, explorer.exe is here to blame for, for what ever reason.
For anyone wondering, create a shortcut of ForzaMotorsport to anyway, copy the path of the shortcut and paste it within the " " Yourpathtoshortcut like so:
rem Start Forza Motorsport
start "" "C:\Users\KimboCake\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Forza Motorsport - Shortcut.lnk"
save it as what ever name you want, and as .bat
@echo off
rem Start Forza Motorsport
start "" "Yourpathtoshortcut"
rem Delay for 30 seconds before closing explorer.exe
timeout /t 30 /nobreak >NUL
rem Check if Explorer is running, if it is, terminate it
tasklist /FI "IMAGENAME eq explorer.exe" 2>NUL | find /I /N "explorer.exe" >NUL
if "%ERRORLEVEL%"=="0" (
taskkill /F /IM explorer.exe
)
rem Wait for the Forza Motorsport process to finish
:waitloop
tasklist /FI "IMAGENAME eq Forza Motorsport - Shortcut.lnk" 2>NUL | find /I /N "Forza Motorsport - Shortcut.lnk" >NUL
if "%ERRORLEVEL%"=="0" (
timeout /t 1 /nobreak >NUL
goto waitloop
)
rem Restart Explorer.exe
start explorer.exe
edit: i just found out that i can start the game without internet connection but when i turn the internet on again, the games closes. Forza Horizon 5 has the same issue.
