G29 wheel not even available in settings, any clues ?

Hi, just launched the game, went on the intro it put me in some practice race, I went to change the controls to wheel (because it was keyboard by default) but no option, I can only play with keyboard, but no whell (my G29 is plugged in and work fine in Forza 7 and other games) Any idea how to make the wheel controls pop up or even the game understand that the wheel is plugged in ? Thanks

Just to put it simply, I have currently no way of selecting wheel for controls, only keyboard...

Ok found a solution, it seems making sure G-Hub (logitech hub program) is running allow the wheel to be selected as some input, but it's not even recognizing it's a logitech G29 it just says it's an input, seems something is still missing, better than keyboard though

1. I would definitely try reinstalling g hub here is the link -

2. I would check the settings in windows if your steering wheel is set correctly

G hub has to be running in order that the game recognizes the wheel, same as in previous forza games

G hub is running and the problem persist, all updadated, all connected but nothing

I have the same type of steering wheel G29 and the game sees it, so it will definitely not be a problem in the game, but unfortunately somewhere in yours

In the other games there´s no problem at all, it´s only for forza. And I know other people with the same problem... Maybe is because is the PS version? I don´t know, but thanks for the help, really appreciate it

anyone gotten it working yet? I have the playstation version of the G29 and cannot get it working, yes ghub is running and updated.

make sure you are on the ps3 switch (for PC it's PS3, for PS4 and PS it's PS4)

Just finished reinstalling windows, forza and ghub were the only things installed. Still not working! I really don't get it the g29 works perfect in any other game.

Do you have maybe a gamepad connected at the same time than the wheel ? Try unplug it if so just to check, also you are aware the wheel appear as INPUT in the settings right ? so if you see INPUT that's your wheel, just in case you missed that.

it says "InputUINames <unknown> and does not let wheel settings be selected, it acts as a controller. Just throwing this out to the universe to see if anyone comes up with a solution, as I said tried everything in this thread, tried plugging in 2.0 slot, older ghub software, regedit deletes, run as system admin, etc

Go into steam settings, controller, make sure every setting for controller is unchecked. After I’ve done this my wheel was finally recognized in game
