The game handles GREAT on Wheels (Logitech G920)
Just wanted to say how good the game handles on Wheels. Got the Premium version for my dads birthday as he just mainly plays racing games. He has a wheel and man is it a HUGE improvement from not only Forza Horizon 5's (gave it a 5/10 for wheel support wheel controls but even way better than Forza Motorsport (gave it a 6.5 for wheel).

After 8 hours on the game today, Me and my dad both said this is the best racing game for a Wheel since DIrty Rally 2.0, handles just wonderful! We both are also loving the new engine and the new career is fun. Also performance so far has been good (Although only played 2 hours on PC and 6 hours on xbox series x).

Anyways, just a heads up for those wondering how the new game handles on a wheel? It handles WONDERFUL! And lots of options to customize things (Me and my dad where surpised how well it controlled with default settings).

Other than some menus being annoying, we both have liked most everything else. Oh yeah and the audio sounds amazing and yeah the controls and feel of the cars are much better now, especially with a Wheel.

And off topic, but this is mine and my dads favorite non open world (and non fully sim) racing game since Forza Motorsport 4 and Grand Turismo 5 for what its worth. Alot better
than the last few Motorsport games.

Cheers, hope everyone has a fun time on the game and I hope to see some people racing online :)

It's not even detecting my wheel (t300rs) even though it's a default config.

Sorry to hear that man, I have a Logitech G920 (with a nice heavy stand), working great so far on xbox and PC with that wheel.

I hope you get yours working soon bud, real surprised how much better it feels than the last two games I tried (Motorsport 7 and Horizon 5).

I can confirm, I'm playing with Logitech G29 and it works great, much better than in Forza Horizon 5 and Forza Motorsport 7. It may not be the best FFB in the industry but very good nonetheless (especially for a simcade game).

Yup, well said, best in a Forza game no doubt.

No problem, me and my dad both said it almost feels like we have a new wheel with how well it controls on this new game/engine. Some cool stuff done under the hood on this game, hope you enjoy when you hop on! We where suprised the defaault wheel settings have worked so well, we havn't tinkered with anything wheel related (just difficulty stuff,etc..), there are lots of options there to to fine tune it how ya want.

Played another hour or 2 on the pc verison before bed, so far performance has been a nice surprise (5700x I just got but I have a 2070 Super). I have DLSS on balanced and Cars and Textures at the highest, others at auto and @1440p. Hasn't gone below 60fps yet at anytime, going to try at higher fps tomorrow.

Using a Thrustmaster T248. I am IMPRESSED! I did not expect it to handle this good! It took me a while to figure out how to make the TH8A shifter work though. Clutch is much more responsive than in Horizon as well. You really have to push it in and also rev match it properly.

Only thing is the display on my wheel doesn't work.

Good to hear another Wheel runs well for you!

This is another reason why i started this thread up so others could post and share how things control and work with there wheels. Should be good for others who are looking to buy a wheel! Honestly thinking of getting one after trying my dad's wheel all day, going to have to pick another one up I think (got him one for xmas few years back, along with setting up his Dolby Atmos audio set up, controls and sounds amazing).

He looked like a kid at christmas today playing it with a huge smile haha, not seen him this happy in awhile on a videogame (hes almost 70 now).

Enjoy the racing bud!

I've seen the same comment from a lot of reviews, although for me that's only a minor quibble. I would expect the displays to work in a future patch.
