60 or 120....WTF cares

Honestly after watching this video as well as checking it out myself.....those whining and leaving good riddance.....

First off it is MP only there is more to the game then just that. Heck I avoided MP in FM7 due to the bumper car babies.... Given the online lobbies will have a system where you are rated and will place like rated people into the same lobbies, as it were. I am looking forward to MP now.

However onto the 60 fps, not everyone has a monitor that does 120 hertz to take advantage of the 120....so. But more so as this video and others have stated....not much of a difference and not always better. I checked my friends game that forced it to play 60 fps on his set up.....and I could not discern any issues or lack of enjoyment.


I feel people are just complaining for the sake of complaining....this is not the first time this has happened. F1 has no VR support.....did fine on release. As well as many other games....have their detractors and yet it is fine.

So waste whining, I'll be racing. Have fun all.

Honestly the people complaining about it are just spoiled brats. I really wonder what kind of human being can be so petty an superficial... and what type of demographic they come from.

The need they have to say "i spent 3000$ for my pc so i want it to run faster!!11!!11oneone!" shows a kind of self-entitlement of people who have serious, serious character problems.

First real hardship they face in life i wonder how they will react. Probably by trying to find a forum to post a complaint to fate.

Honestly, most people are better off sticking with 60fps, and not fussing with higher FPS, so things remain a constant for them. I used to run monitors at 85hz when we had CRTs. Was great for Quake2, Half-life and stuff.

I got a LCD for the first time, and it was locked at 60fps. I was sad. I adapted. And I basically decided to stick with 60fps from then on. Even now I've had a 144hz triple wide setup for a few years, I typically just leave things at 60. Life is easier. It's easier on your hardware, and your experience will be more uniform.

Just because you want 4K, 160fps, doesn't mean you will always get it. Even with fancy hardware. I won't be surprised when a lot of people can't get ultra-high FPS with this anyway.

Some people lean too heavily on their hardware, without understanding how things really work and get upset over things that should not bother them so much. Some people make their arbitrary FPS numbers out to be more important than the experience itself. Which is silly.

If it`s 60 fps locked, why did they bother to port it on PC. I even don`t wanna see my desktop anymore at 60 Hz. And on desktop I could feel instant difference between 144 hz and 360 hz. So don`t tell me 60 fps is fine. I play even fh5 on lower settings to get high fps

When it comes to racing games, the higher the fps I can get the better. Locking a racing to 60 fps is silly.

He is right though. I have a 60Hz monitor and a 240Hz side by side and I can feel and see the difference while on the desktop.

Same. I have three monitors. 240Hz, 170Hz and 75Hz. Never do I game on the 75Hz one and do notice the difference simply moving my mouse cursor around.

I have a 60hz tv from back when gta 5 came out on ps3.... as my second monitor and then a 144 hz gsync acer predator as my main.... can totally tell the difference just in the smoothness of the mouse movements on each screen.

I havea 4090 and I dont give a ♥♥♥♥ if its a locked 60fps as long as frametimes are good. yes, 120hz for my oled would be nice. but only multi is locked 60fps because their engine physics are built for that or smth like that

Idk if I'm just old, but I remember when people would purposely cap their fps at like 30 because in a racing game it makes it feel like the car is going slower and it calms you down to make better decisions.
