Won't it let you adjust the projection?
Yoooo how do you get that to work with Borderless Gaming without the extra UI stretching??? That picture looks EXACTLY how my FM7 looks when I ran it in Windowed Mode in Native Resolution (no nvidia surround) and I can't seem to recreate that for the 2023 title. I've been on this for 3 days now without any luck.
I tried it with Borderless Gaming and it just renders the entire game stretched across all 3 monitors.
How did you get this to work?
Ok so after a lot of searching the fix for ME was actually much easier than I realized. My setup is kinda weird, my side monitors are rotated vertical, my main is 1440p.
I went into my Nvidia Control Panel and created a custom resolution, added up the horizontal pixels and plugged in my new number. Of course the picture looked crazy but you can just revert back to native - the goal is to save the custom resolution.
Load up Forza, change to your new resolution. Just like in FM7, the menus and race setup screen are locked in at 16:9 or whatever your native is, and there will be grey or black boxes on the side monitors.
When you load into the race all 3 monitors render the game without stretching HUD elements to additional screens.
Hope this helps, I'm headed out for some laps.
I personally have a simrig with triple screens, where the side monitors are angled at 60 degrees to the side (which is a common setup). No matter how I adjust the FOV ingame the result is badly stretch out image on the side monitors, as there is no way to put in the angle and distance of the monitors.
Even users with triple screen setup is probably a low persentage than all others, they are still many thousands across the globe.
They also may be more dedicated, than "normal" players, and is probably more likely to spend more money on a racing game which work well for theire setup. Like bying extra content like dlc`s. A player with a dedicatd simrig is more likely to play more racing games than a normal player, as they have already invested allot of money on equipment.
So if they added triplescreen support, my guess is that they actually would earn more money by doing so.
