Cheaper on Microsoft Store

I love steam, but this game is cheaper on the Microsoft store.

Stem seems to be going up in pricing, I have noticed on my wishlist that old games i have have gone up and now the starting prize for a new game is going to start at $70.00usd I think the price increase started with Mortal Kombat 1 at $70.00 and even the DLC is getting the mega hike, Ill just wait after the game lost the hype then get it on sale for $30-$40

Look, they know that many have bought the latest 'bells and whistles' graphics cards and wish to see them get hot!
They know there are numerous younger ones that with little commitment to life's bills and fiscal deviance's they shall get it.
The parents forever feeling compelled to allow young Johnny or Sarah the game they ''oh so want''.
This is brand marketing my friends. It is a deeply thought out psychological ploy employed to make you part with your money.
Nothing new in that for certain and yet just how ludicrously high can the bar of cost and value reach?
I submit to you all that at nearing sixty years of age and working all of my life this quote from Shakespeare:
“The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.”

One day when many of you have more responsibilities you shall be awake, and then you shall 'know'.
For now this fool' shall stay noticeably wealthier for my foolishness.

Wrong, this game for me here is $129 for the Ultimate edition, and it is $129 for the same edition on the MS Store page.

It's because steam takes a cut so they raise their prices to compensate.
Also they'd rather you just get gamepass instead, that's another reason for these price increases from publishers who have a subscription system.

And paying full price for games on steam is stupid anyway, when you can just wait for a sale.

But there is no price difference. Both Steam and the MS store are selling it for $129


As for sales....When I bought FM7 about 2 years ago, I paid the same as the day it came out....there was no sales offered as I was waiting, but you are right, you could wait for steam to put it on sale.

For me where I live it is $129. It is simple people globally can buy the game so when they give you a number it is pretty sure thing that they are telling you in their currency....I figured people would realise that.....I was wrong.

350 in MS store, 300 in steam.
