As it stands, the Mk 7/2014 stands in best I spose but really just hits me as a heavier & not quite as attractive alternative w/ a bit more power stock.
Biggest surprise has been how much I've been loving the precision apex carving of the '94 Miata built up to PI 700; the Emira & AWD converted M Coupe are great for me in S class both in smooth driving at ludicrous speed & their looks; still love the 2002 turbo, earlier M3s, & GTIs up to A for their aesthetic & driving personalities. Still have a bunch of old favorites to build up though...
Really feels like it's torque vectoring at throttle on & lift as it should, enough so I've been really hesitant to change the stock dif (or springs & dampers on the off chance this awesome feel is actually being achieved via stock suspension tuning) well into S class which is a fairly big rarity for me. Seems to have held up through putting the car on the biggest diet possible (down to just under 2700 lbs) w/ sizable power increase along the way so I'm thinking they may actually have the stock difs set up to provide yaw. Gonna have to experiment w/ swapping the dif to confirm.
Acceleration numbers seem pretty off but it's been right up there in providing my highest degree of pure driving satisfaction nonetheless :)
