A couple basic issues that MUST be addressed.

I know it's been discussed before but....

1. Break balance!
The default break balance is 50/50 or even worse in the case of the C8 balanced to the rear. This is so wrong on so many levels. Not only is it not realistic it makes stock cars with no adjustment very hard to get in to turns on a proper trajectory. Most real off the line cars are 60% front and 40% rear to keep the car stable under heavy breaking.

2. Fix gear meshing on manual transmissions.
This has been an issue since at least Horizon 3. Gear meshing should not take more then a split second. The damage multiplier for this event is way way off the charts as well. One "missed shift" can cause 3% damage and add more time to the gear mesh mechanic. At 3% per missed shift this add up at a very high rate. I have driven and even raced a lot of cars with manual transmission and have never damaged one of them.

3, Front end alignment settings for stock cars.
This one is more of a major irk than a necessity unlike the above suggestions. You can roll under almost any car on this planet with a couple of wrenches and adjust toe and camber. My riding lawn mover has toe adjustments and I certainly didn't add a 4 link kit to it.

I like this games over all handling and agree with most of what I see. I just can't get past these glaring issues. I should not have to spend a bunch of points on breaks and drive train stuff just to make the car handle as expected from the factory.

I think it's horrible we can't change the transmission to our liking. If you got a car with a 8 gear transmission you are forced to have 8 gears no matter what. All you can do then is replace the drivetrain with AWD to get a 6 gear transmission. This is so bad i don't understand that at all. In Forza Horizon 5 you can choose between 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 gear transmission. But in FM2023 you can't.

I want to choose between all i mentioned and add a 5 gear transmission too. so we have 4-10. I prefer 5-7 only in some rare cases like maybe the Jesko and other crazy fast cars i want 8 gears, but else never.

Completely agree. This dose feel like a step backwards for the Forza games..

You can set the gear ratio to fake a 6 speed on a race transmission. Just set gear 7,8,9 etc to the same ratio as the 6th gear and set the final drive and 6th gear ratios for the top speed on track your tuning for. Test your 1st gear so the car launches nicely and fill in the rest with the graph and testing.
