My relationship with the dwarves was down to 10...and my relationship with the elves was a 90.
I kind of wanted to marry them all, because they were all interesting in their own right. The Lizard was by far the most impressive woman overall. Obviously, she's intelligent, a free thinker, unwilling to give in to out-dated traditions such as setting up a marriage with the emperor just for politics. I really liked that, but I had a great relationship with the lizards (speaking of politics, haha). I didn't pick the elf because of the same reason (and really, if I was going to marry an elf, I would have preferred marrying the male elven councillor, that nerdy, humble tree-hugging hottie!). I decided against marrying the undead princess because I don't really like how her storyline is so materialistic. If I am marrying an undead, I want to marry an undead. Turning her "beautiful" again just seemed so simplistic and vain; I'd have preferred a storyline where you help her come to terms with her realistic existence, honestly.
So yeah. I picked the dwarf because my relations with their race was extremely low, plus, I liked her strength in addition to her hinting at seeking freedom from her father. She really seemed like a powerful woman hiding in a shell due to circumstance and I was drawn to that.
Next playthrough, I'll probably pick the lizard. The playthrough after that, I'll pick the elf. But only so I can slyly work my way into the heart of the councillor. Haha. XD
Me too :). Though I also picked the dwarf, and also only couse of politics. Or rather mainly... But I think I will play them all through, perhaps even more than once. Theri charakter can go in many directions... + I gotta sacrifice at least one of them once for the demon as well :D
