Game keeps going back to desktop? [RESOLVED]

When I run the game a window appears but it keeps going back to the desktop. If I click on the window again is appears, but then goes back to desktop again??

Does anybody else have this issue?

What is you computer configuration, os, drivers? Do you have latest DirectX drivers and GPU drivers?

I tried again this morning even after 1.03 patch, and I have the same issue. I also tried restarting. My GeForce Drivers are up to date. I did a check and there are no outstanding Windows Updates.

For more info on the error, the game appears to still be open and there is the GAS game icon on the task bar, if I click on it, a black screen shows (some audio of cars going by plays), and then it goes back to the desktop, but the gas icon is still there. It seems the game is happy to stay in the background but not happy to stay open when clicked on.

After reading through the thread, it appears the Adobe Application Updater in the desktop tray was the problem. After I closed it, the game runs fine!

Thank you for the timely support! I wish more Steam developers could give similar support in these forums.

To anyone else who is having this problem:
If you use Discord, go to Settings ---> Notifications, and disable "Enable Desktop Notifications". Worked for me.
