Already posted a review on my side :)

So we can brainstorm ideas then lol, despite the fact I've already done a review (thanks for your reply too, helps to know the devs are alive), I got to say I'm happy that while playing the game I never had the issue of being too far ahead or behind like I did when playing Motorstorm Apocolypse... I think it's partly because of the guns and stuff that spice things up a bit.

I always felt with that game they needed to double the bot size since there wasn't enough players to compete with, of course Motorstorm was a ps3 exclusive and the hardware wouldn't have supported a bot increase. But Gas Guzzlers doesn't seem to have the problem of running out of opponents, which is a relief, because not every racer would look good with 60 cars on a single track... I'm yet to finish the game so I wont make any actual suggestions just yet, just encase, I don't want to say something only to discover it's already in the game lol.

Though off the top of my head, maybe a modular armor customisation system... what I mean is, allowing the ability to customize where armor could be placed... say a thick tombstone armor in the back with nothing in the front or sides, or a thick armor all around, or light armor all around, the pros for more armor is it takes more of a beating on the specified spots but slows you down a little and momentum carries you further... less/light armor allows for better movement and being agile, however easier to destroy. But maybe coding the physics in and making the damage that little bit more dynamic might be a pain in the ass to develop... hmmm.

Every suggestion is appreciated, and every one I write down and at present it to the devs. Thank you for your nice words =D
Game is great overall but i would like to see:
- more soundtracks
- more cars customization (maybe tuning parts, like bumpers, spoliers etc), more stickers
- better physics when turning high angles and while getting hit by a rocket/hitting a bands

I think that music in the garage should be everywhere (except races) in the game. Oh, there is only 1 track in the menu and online-lobbies. That is not good.

From game release we alerady made 10+ patches with more than 100 individual fixes and features and all for free. A lot of them were community request.

Fast example - rear view mirror on top of a screen. Or crosshair in any camera mode. Or free look camera on my right stick in deathmatch-like modes(or whenever I wanted). Or minimap in these modes. Or more informative minimap. Or adequate healthbar somewhere i can see it without hurting my eyes. You know that kind of small stuff.

Hey thanks for the feedback everything you said is noted. And feel free to write everything that comes to your mind!

Not sure why crossair would be useful. At max it can be like Interstate 76, something on the hood that help a bit to aim.

free look cAmera when inside a car? Not sure how it would be realist.

How the healthbar hurt your eyes? Minimap? Why? It's much more fun finding your enemies instead of going CoD style.

I would suggest tho, that when I put the music off, since I wanted to listen to my own through Pandora online, the radio in the garage plays its own little tune... I think that the volume for the radio in the garage should be linked to music volume in the options... also for atmospheric sake having the choice to actually play the music through the radio would be an epic small inclusion... especially if in the options menu we had the ability to play music on our computers... I would say to have compatibility with Pandora (dot) com, but realize they might not be onboard for making it a free compatibility thing, maybe having the ability to stream music through a type of web browser component might be a neat work around... But I'd love to simply be able to mute the in game music volume and in doing so mute the radio so I can enjoy my music elsewhere kind of thing.

A rareview mirrior or even better a cockpit view would be neat, I'm sure VR enthusiasts would love to use their Oculus's to look around while driving their cars and checking out a rear view mirrior and side mirriors... I wouldn't want crosshairs without a reasonable explanation to why I'm seeing them, I realize this game isn't about realistic immersion but I also feel like it takes away from some of the guess work that actually makes it fun. I also like how you ask the community what they want, I'm sure you figure certain things out yourself but prefer to make sure that's what your customers would like also... puting it simply, I like that you're not like EA.

Yea the "play my own music" is a big demand from the community. Tho i dont think that it would work with pandora, spotify etc.. (maybe they are not the same as i dont use any so sorry if i categorized them) because some licence/legal stuff imo would be too much hassle. If we well make your own music a thing it would prolly be a folder where you just throw in music and it plays in game.

Wrote down other suggestions that you said. Well the game is for the people and you need to listen to the people what they say. Happy customer is the best customer...holy i should go into marketing.

Thanks for the review!!

if you check out beat hazard, they let you play your own music, basically you set the directory to where the game should look for the files... this saves on needing to make a seperate folder and making copies of everything... beat hazard is pretty cheap so its worth buying on steam in general. :)

You should make a thread about the issue listing your full computer specs.
It's an issue that you have, tons of people don't have any issues. Having more infos (that start with your specs) is needed to be able to reproduce the bug and or understand it for fixing it.

Thanks
