So I get all of the emails saying that things have been descrambled and I can find them at the appropriate crafting bench... I can place a beacon as the email describes but I cannot figure you how to pick and craft a chest (or anything else for that matter).... a lil intro on that would be great!...

Metagame is quite similar to Subnautica - which I adore - where the task is to explore biomes, get data/resources for the escape vessel and then build it to win the game. N is your friend, you are able to interact with a computer and read emails for controls and everything is well explained, This was a big hurdle for me, nearly returned the game not knowing the next proper steps. The game is solid, if only a bit rough around the edges. You will figure things out after that....

Attempting to activate a number of different facilities (possibly too many and the wrong ones?) brings up the ship customization screen. It doesn't stop your air running out (too few things stop your air running out, really, why is there only air inside my ship when I'm piloting it?). And when I leave that screen I frequently get all my controls locked so I can do nothing except sit there and suffocate....

I got to the point where I now have the pump, the pipes, and the bucket. However, it's not very clear how to properly set them up. I have one pipe coming out from the pump that goes into water, and another that goes to either just air or above the bucket, but nothing happens. So how to fill the bucket? And what to do with the bucket next when it has water? Also, how do I control which direction does the pump work in, like left-to-right or right-to-left?
