Ok that's a shame then. I don't know about Nvidia, but I do know what causes it for AMD and how to fix it.
If people happen to stumble upon this topic that have an AMD.
When you install the AMD drivers it also installs this annoying little program called AMD Gaming Evolved that runs in the background. When you shut it down it fixes the problem that the mouse goes off to the other monitor.
Just look for AMD Gaming Evolved in the taskbar where you see active programs and close it.
If you want to uninstall this program just go to the windows control panel -> Uninstall a program -> look for the name "Raptr". That's the AMD Gaming Evolved program.
I just edited my post above. I'm not sure if this will help him, because he only uses one screen, but he can try atleast to close it.
