Warning for Steamdeck: I loved the demo but found that it will not launch on steamdeck initially. It was pointed out in the comments though that if you go into properties then go to compatibility, you can force the game to launch using Proton Hotfix. This will then allow you to play with no issues. So if you are thinking about playing this on deck then you should keep this in mind. Also note that this game does not have cloud saves so you will be playing your Pc version and your Deck version separately at this point (though thats not an issue for me since i enjoy the game). Pass that small issue there are not any stand out bugs that i have run into and i have found that i really enjoy playing this with the touch screen. The gameplay is simple enough that you can play by touch one handed but is also extremely easy to play with the controls.

Short View: This game has some crazy depth that i am excited to explore more. There is alot of talk through some review or in the discussions about the learning curve being to steep or the game being to hard but i dont see that at all. If you understand positioning and the tactics of the game then this is a super fun puzzle battler that you can sink a ton of time into. People complain about the heavy not being good or how moves dont mean enough but i think that is a kneejerk reaction from others who havent learned the game well enough yet. If you play the current demo and enjoy the game then there is no reason not to pick up the game. For 10$ you get 3 more teams with interesting builds and 3 diffuculties each. Well worth it for sure.

The gameplay, the arts are so good but the game is too short, I have played a few runs and won gold cup (hardest challenge ig). I wish devs added more content like new modes, new challenges.

First things first: This is by no means a bad game. If you enjoyed the demo, you’ll very likely enjoy the full version as well. I played the demo and was genuinely excited for “more” – but that’s exactly where I felt a bit let down.

From what I’ve experienced, the full game doesn’t offer that much new beyond additional teams and higher difficulties. If you played the demo, you’ve basically seen the core of what the game has to offer. The gameplay itself is really enjoyable and the concept is fantastic, but I’m not convinced that a roguelike structure was the best choice for it.

Characters like the Heavy feel almost useless without specific movement upgrades, and overall I had way too limited resources during my runs with very little meaningful control over how to spend them. I beat the Bronze Run in the demo and the Silver Run in the full game, and honestly… I expected more. Longer runs, more over-the-top skills to experiment with, bigger synergies – something that feels truly rewarding. Instead, just when you finally assemble some decent items and abilities, the run is already over.

The roguelike elements don’t add much depth either. Starting each run with more resources is nice but way too expensive to actually buy. Many unlocks feel either redundant or so mandatory that they should have been available from the start. Even a successful run only gives you slightly above 50 points – and that says a lot when there are already so few upgrades to choose from in the first place. Most of them are either redundant or feel mandatory. Things like more Gold, more Coaches, or more Relics should honestly come for free after every run as basic motivation and progression, not locked behind a tiny point reward.

Maybe I haven’t seen every little thing yet, but after my playtime it genuinely feels like I’ve experienced everything significant the game has to offer — aside from the usual incremental upgrades that mostly just extend your playtime artificially.

All that said, the game is solid and I think 10€ is a fair price. It just could have been fleshed out more in terms of variety, depth and run length. I’ll probably check back in the future if they add substantial new content, but for now I feel like I’ve seen what there is to see.
