Just in time before Betrayer was removed from Steam!

Dear Community&Devs(in case U read this?)! SO just a few days ago I got a feeling and the forcing urge to purchase Betrayer finally."Hurry up Slender-K purchase it finally because it could be they will remove it from Steam!" Listening to my feeling I finally purchased Betrayer and now I'm really glad I followed my Nerd-Instinct! Because now Betrayer WAS removed from Steam/Valve,and I just wonder WHY?! It's just a good really nice game only I realized that almost to lateand now it's gone! Of course I hope someday it will return to Steam again also we will finally know what ever happened to the Devs/Publishers?! IF somebody knows about those Devs and their mysterious disappearence please let me know thanks!

I don't think there's anything mysterious at all. They were a team of experienced developers who either didn't get the sales they wanted and left gaming, or used Betrayer to get poached by other developers and have much better-paying jobs now.

The game got taken down because the company is dead and they have no further interest in supporting the game or being associated with it.

For me I saw to often how Devs gave up,games vanished from Steam and groups once founded moved on( like NecroVision for example)and left.APOCRYPH,Fog of War,Day of Infamy,Ergress etc!

There's no point to trading cards.

You can still trade the cards. and create booster packs with gems, so it's entirely possible to finish the badge. You just can't buy the cards on the market.

That makes no sense at all. Plenty of games aren't being supported anymore but are still available, why remove it from sale altogether?

Well it's on sale on Fanatical right now in the Summer Bundle, $1 for one game and cheaper if u buy more.

But even if sales are low, few is better than none. They could earn a little bit of money if they wanted.

This is such a shame. It mightn't rate as a genuine tragedy but it's a sad event. This game is soo.. good and I get the feeling it was missed by most people. Such a shame for the game itself and the developers too. I hope some of those devs find somewhere else to plant these ideas.

It is a great, unique game. I wonder who owns the game? Maybe we can add it to the wishlist that GOG.com has.
