Daikatana N64
I'd heard some rumors regarding uniquness of N64 version. Is it true? Does it have something specific what does not have PC version? Is it based on Daikatana Quake 1 engion period? etc. Would like to hear interesting information!

Yes. It's an entirely different game. It runs on a different game engine, has entirely different levels, weapons, music, sounds, etc. Only thing in common is the name and general themes.

N64 Daikatana wasn't even developed by Ion Storm. It was developed by Japanese company called Kemco as cheap as possible and as fast as possible. And it is an abomination of a game largely responsive for Daikatana's poor reputation.

The game runs very poorly on N64 hardware with frame rate often being single digits rather than double digits. I've played it on both actual hardware and in emulator. Emulator run I've recorded if you want to watch it. The game is about four hours long and I made two short videos on my channel.

And yes the music is really this bad. However it does play a bit smoother on actual hardware. Emulator has some problems with music I was unable to fix.

Emulator allows running the game with stable frame rate, so it is likely the best way to play this version of the game.

Some of the models and textures are from very early Daikatana development cycles so I'd say they came from Quake 1 engine version. But I don't know for sure. It is a very mixed bag of stuff.

Thanks for the informative Dekonega.
The N64 Port of Daikatana makes the PS1 & N64 Ports of the Quake Games look like Masterpieces.
