My friend who i play CS:GO with said if i post a review on this game and it gets 200 likes and 200 awards that he will buy me a RTX 3060 and 2 kilos of canned ham. So i'm just gonna leave this here. Help a brotha

After nearly 1600 hours in Throne and Liberty, and now stepping away from active play, I feel ready to give an honest review.

Would I recommend it?
It’s somewhere between “yes, but…” and “not really anymore.” It really depends on what you're looking for.

--------------------------PvP – From Promising to Problematic--------------------------
T1 PvP was excellent – Balanced and fun, until the overpowered spear meta took over. Suddenly every guild had 30 spears, and balance went out the window.

T2 brought changes – A new meta emerged, a bit more playable, but still flawed.

GvG and Ally PvP – These modes were well-designed and genuinely enjoyable. Custom wargames (50–70 vs 50–70) remain the best PvP content the game offers — top tier if your server is alive.

Solo PvP – Arenas with ranked matchmaking still offer something for solo players.

Open-world PvP? Dead. – Outside of T2 nebula, most servers have zero open PvP, especially at night. Even nebula is limited to 5–7 hours weekly, often reserved for prime-time bosses in bigger guilds.

Mass PvP like sieges or interserver nebula – A chaotic mess. FPS drops even on high-end rigs, poorly optimized, and just not fun. A big NO from me. It's more like free potion of depression and killing your PC, unlimited crashes..

--------------------------PvE – Repetitive and Shallow--------------------------
Daily content is a loop hole – Same quests, same routines, every day.

Dungeons are overly easy – Nerfed after global feedback, now mindless for new borns even on a controller. Higher tiers exist, but bugs make them exploitable, and punishments come months later after no real fixes.

World bosses – Quick kills with low-value loot. 0.01% drop rate for anything decent.

Open world PvE? – Miserable drop rates, almost nothing worth farming. Barely any reason to play open-world PvE unless you're desperate.

TL;DR: PvE can be cleared in 30–60 minutes a day. Not terrible, just shallow feels more like the filler of the time ingame.

--------------------------Why I Quit and not active anymore?--------------------------
The biggest letdown? The way issues have been handled — or rather, not handled.
At Christmas, the game was a buggy mess as hell. Amazon took a 1.5-month break vacation, released only skins and one battle pass, and gave zero communication or bug fixes. A few months later? Same thing all over again.

I’d understand this from a small indie team — but Amazon? They didn’t even learn from their New World mistakes. The KR roadmap doesn’t look promising either any big changes for the year 2025.

--------------------------Final Thoughts--------------------------
If you're into team-based PvP — especially structured GvG or Wargames— TL still has some fun to offer. The combat feels good, and with the right group, it can shine. I think this game become mainly focused for this content.

But for solo players, or those hoping for solid PvE or mass PvP, this probably isn’t the game for you.
/ solo players maybe only for arena content.. but you will need maxed gear to be able fight for rank.

And it's not that P2W as everyone yapping, it's more like pay to progress for sure. But it's still possible to play if you are playing F2P but it will take a time.. or maybe more luck than me :)

- In the end, game was great so it could be more like 6.5 or 7 from the 10 points like two months ago.
But after all, my final points will be more like 5 or max 5.5/10.

Sadly in this state of the game it's just barely average mmo game.
