why are my woodcutters not working

i have 1684 wood and my wood cuters are not doing any think so my people are going to die what shal i do ?

your limit might be too low. set it to a higher level. actually you should set all the limits a bit higer than starting levels. or the wood cutter is to far away from the logs. or the wood cutter house is to far away from the wood cutter shed so he is spending all his "working" time walking to work. this applies to all professions. hope some of this helps :)

The distance from the woodcutter to the storage yard could be a factor. They go to the yard to get logs and then return firewood there. The storage yard isn't full is it?

ow right chers and i have set it to 1000 and i thin k it might be because storage is to far away

I usually put a woodcutter next to the stockpile I build near my foresters.
