Bridges across small streams

Sorry if this question has been asked before. I did a search and didn't find anything.

I haven't played in a very long time. Wondering if it has been changed that you cannot build bridges across the small streams anymore? I tried and couldn't get the bridge to turn green.

The opposing banks need to be parallel to work. That's been my observation. Also, don't run your road right up to the stream edge. Draw your bridge then attach the road to it.

You have to go from "green" to "green". Just keep trying, eventually it'll work.

You might not be able to build a bridge exactly where you want it, but bridges can still be built across small streams.

Thanks. Got it to work. I think I had built the road too close to the bank before trying to build the bridge.

Appreciate the help.
