How do I speed up the production of firewood?

I always make sure I have a few Foresters bringing logs to the stock pile so the wood chopper can chop them up for firewood. I think that works better than just stripping the forest of trees.

Make more citizens = Build houses. One for each 2 adults (this is the very basics of it)
Make them faster = build their homes near their workplace, educate them with a school

Stand in the pasture with some grain in your hand! lol Joking. You have to buy the livestock from a trader. When you can afford it build a trading post.

All my citezens are dieing of old age. There is no starvation or diseases, I just can't make new kids fast enough.

I think my town will slowly crumble to dust. I only have 13 citezens. They all have enough firewood and enough to eat and good shelter, but they are old.

Sorry. I did not communicate the situation well. I at one point had a nice town, bustling and prosperous. Then all my citezens started to die and I couldn't replace thme. Soon I was down to 5 and with alot of jobs to do. So I will learn from my mistake (Rushing things) and start afresh.

sometimes u will recognize that ur peripheral stockpiles are full wirh wood and those near to ur woodcutters are empty. Simple solution: demolish the peripheral stockpiles, let your labors clear them and build them new...ur wood will be transported to the next stockpile closer to ur woodcutters....u have to mange, that u have enough labors, they are very important for this....
