Plant is definitely dead and the yield goes down to 0 in the winter.
Yep I did. I gave up on orchards and just went with all farmland. Not sure if orchards are even needed.
They're not being harvested. Yield reaches 100%. If I press harvest it does go down a bit but after a way it goes up again.
Ummm... I hope you are not expecting them to cut down the trees (plants) like they do in farm fields.
LOL :P is that the case here?!?!?!?
Too funny if so.
Nope, I watch the yield bar and then look at my town hall inventory. No harvesting being done while yield increases.
How do you know I haven't? Point is I have. Have replanted, rebuilt, and reassigned. The only time the yield number goes down is when snow hits. Plus I'm not trying to mislead people, asking whether there is something I overlook. So far, nothing suggested have worked.
I tried as much as 4 farmers. Still the same problem but yield goes up faster.
The fruit from an orchard is not harvested automatically, neither at the start of autumn nor when the yield reaches 100%. This is the fruit harvest; we're not talking about cutting down trees.
I assumed this meant that orchards do not auto-harvest at any point, but it sounds like for some people your farmers actually pick the fruit from orchards without having to be told to.
This occurs across multiple maps, and the suggestion of cutting down orchards and replanting them doesn't change anything. Nor does increasing the farmer allocation above the default 3 for a full sized orchard. The specific crop doesn't seem to matter - I have tried with pear, walnut, peach, apple and cherry to no avail.
I don't consider this to be a serious issue, but I can confirm what Saccharide is reporting.
