Just had a tornado outside of my town. Somehow it killed like 98% of my population. I understood when it killed a hunter out in the woods; laughed even. Then everybody died. I just don't get it. All of their homes look fine. Only thing destroyed was hunting lodge and the herb gather building. Why can't my people just go home and ride out the storm?
Even if I managed to spread my people out enough (which would be annoying), that thing is definitely going to kill most of them anyway.
I thought disasters would be challenging, but that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tornado is just ridiculous.
I guess that's just the way it goes. I was pretty bored and felt like there was nothing left to do.
the strange thing too is that even with 60 builders and 20 laborers, the rebuilding took like 2 years, and then all turned into a nightmare of starvation, cold... *sigh*
I usually play "hardcore", but there Idon't enjoy that, cause my people doesn't seems to react fast enough... not my fault, theirs.
Disaster really give you some hard times, so if you want some challenge turn them on but if you want to just desing and grow your village, you should turn them off.
Oh... and diseases comes even if you have disasters off so don't forget to build a herbalist and a hospital ;)
