Is there a way to canel my work queue?
I just hit 600 pop and overextended my workers in different directions. Now I get hit by a tornado and my workers won't seem to take care of my town and want to still work the assignments I gave before the storm.

Is there a cancel all orders button somewhere?

I'm just trying to get the food workers to their jobs so I can fix the housing. But all of my pop are off in the distance harvesting iron/stone, as well as , building hunting lodges and gatherer's huts. let alone roads every where.

I think I have lost almost half my pop so far, with no end in sight.

Yeh on the same tab where you would destroy a building there is a cancel gathering resources button, just drag and highlight it over the area where they're harvesting stone or iron. I think the same button applies for building stuff.

Also there is a little Up Arrow symbol if you hover over that it should say somethin like set priority then select the task you'd like to be top priority.

What you can do Is pause all the building in the outlying fields and manually set the ratio of workers for each building to 0.

So A forester lodge in an outlying corner would normally work 4 right? You can set that numer to 0. meaning any foresters you set in your main job screen will NOT work that building.

If you manage this for all outlying buildings then your workers / labourers will automatically work buildings near the center. This also means they will move to the houses close to the center. Presto you got your old core set up.

Now that you have your old core of business set up. Wait on babies and new forces of men. Once they come in open up the buildings hub by hub farther away and you should be gold. All the foundation is there. You just need to stop them from working there.

TLDR: Set the number of possilbe workers in outlying buildings to 0. That way you can control which "workplace" is worked and which ones aren't.

I already did all of that. The short cut for individual buildings is clicking on the building and click the work button to stop the workers and free them up.

That is what I did first to the mines and quarries. Then reassigned them to huts, herders, gathers, atc.

I have 30 laborers left, but they still seem assigned, plus my builders aren't building, they are reassigned as well.

I just need them back to thier orgianal assigned jobs. and cancel thje ones that are drawing them away.
