if everyone is dead will nomads still come?
Everyone is dead of old age and was wondering if nomads will still come to populate my city? I have the 3 buildings needed for them to come. If so, how often do they come? Ive had the buildings up for almost 10 years, not a single nomad.

If you place market and townhall, they do come eventually. I think you can continue even when there's no people left.

That is awesome... A bunch of uneducated nomads finding a ghosttown of a once thriving settlement and starting over. Now I almost wish that all my people will die horribly so I can try that out.

Well, I let it run for a total of 10 years after my last citizen died and no nomads. All total, I had the requisite building for nomads for 16 years. Going to restart a new game and try to get some babies this time. If anyone else tries this, let me know how it goes.

It actually worked for me. A disaster took out a big part of my little town. The only thing practically standing was the requirements for Nomads. They came in, I accepted them and I continued where I actually was struck down.

what do nomads need to come? is the townhall enough or something else is required too?

Townhall, market and housing I think is the minimum.

As an aside, read only yesterday that a person sat for 8 years waiting for nomads after he zeroed out.

One thing I do know is that nomad count increases with population so I suspect if population is zero, nothing will show.

nuclearfart doesn't say his poopulation was zero, which I doubt with a single natural disaster so nomads probably turned up "as normal".

I tried it in a saved game but no matter how much years have passed they did not want to come i even had the requeriments but i think it's possible it's just luck others said they get nomads to come to their town/s.

I'm betting their populations were not zero.

There is a mod called Nomad Zero Pop that makes nomads come when your population has zeroed, as long as you still have the pre-requisite buildings. The author says he had to change the setting from 8 to zero, so I guess in the vanilla game you need at least 8 population for nomads to continue to come.

The Lighthouse in New Medieval Town 2.0 acts as a Town Hall and it is the only building you need to draw Nomads. It will eventually draw Nomads even with a zero population. Plus it looks awesome.

As sbg137 mentioned, the vanilla Banished game also has a hidden requirement for a minimum population in your town. If everyone (or almost) is dead you won't get nomads unless you have a mod to set that requirement to 0.
