Or you can start your game on easy mode, and begin with some livestock. I've seen sheep but Idk if that's the default.
Only stock what you want to trade in the port, not everything you have, because your citizens won't have access to what's inside the port. You need to hire workers in the port to get them to bring items in to trade as well. Good luck!
How do they get from your trade post to your pastures? You can't benefit from their utility (meat/eggs/wool/leather) if they remain at the trade post.
