Serf City / Settlers type game?

I have enjoyed the early Settlers series, but games like Caesar not so much. Where would this game rate in that genre?

It reminded me of a settlers game from the old days. Though I was young when I played those so my memory is a bit stiffy on that. Though I enjoy Banished!

Yes. the video looks interesting. I do enjoy the Early Settlers games. I can tolerate the Sim City game. Only thing keeping me from buying is the numerous posts saying they cannot launch the game. I have ran into similar problems on launching games, but mostly ported games. I will wait and see a few days.
