Fatal Error "Crash Dump"
So moments ago i purchased the game and installed within minutes. As soon as i tried to start the game a white screen poped up and a fatal error occured. Something to do with a crash dump. "User/Documents/Banished/Save/Crash.dpm. Has anyone else had this problem, is there a fix?

My problem was f-secure antivirus blocking the game, do you use an antivirus if so turn it off.

Only had this once, playing first tutorial. Now, 5 hours in, never had the same problem again.

I have the same issue. The game crashes when i try to open the Town hall window or when a merchant arrives the dock. I've done all above: change it to dx9

Keep CTRL pressed while launching Banished. It'll bring up the options window before the game starts. You can check all your video settings there.

its aint working (((
Find and rename the VideoDX11.dlls (both 32 and 64 bit) - choose any name in order to disable DivX v11 completely and deselect VSync - that worked for me.
