best place to get is Mrantifun
just type banished trainer or any game and the trainer for it will appear
download the trainer put the executable into the folder of the game
launch it and when the game world just press the keys on the trainer to activate the different cheats

No need to get a .exe trainer when a mod built with the modkit released by the game's dev works just fine :P
MrAntifun trainers are very good. My AV didn't see it as a threat.
Ways to make the game interesting, completely broken, or spice it up after you've played it too long. Or a thing to enable something for a time to get past a particular point, then disable them to continue on.
Gamesharks, cheat code books, and other guides were widespread in the days before the internet and being able to look up videos showing exactly how to do something. (I know.. crazy concept.)
Age of Empires could allow something as simple as a little more of a specific resource (Coinage for gold for example), cause catapults to fire cows if facing two directions, and supermen if facing the other directions, or something crazy like releasing crazy babies riding tricycles and wielding shotguns into the middle ages.
They're something to add fun. Though they've been left out of many games nowadays which makes sense for multiplayer games, but in the case of single player games where it has no effect on other people at all? Odd that they've been phased out of many games.
Starcraft had 'breathe deep' for some vespene gas, 'the gathering' which removed mana costs from abilities, or if you wanted an interesting change you could punch in 'operation cwal' to increase build speed, however it affected your enemies as well Attacking was tricky and defending was easier. Because the defender would be able to replenish units very quickly while yours would still have travel time to get there.
In the case of this game, perhaps something like 'streetsmart' = any adults become educated.
'lostyouth', all children are instantly made into adults.
'SwordsToPlowshares' instantly obtain a number of better tools.
or whatever!
It would be an interesting change. Required? No, but it would be interesting for those who aren't wanting it quite as hardcore, but of course they do have mods now but many are gamebreaking. Whereas a cheatcode tends to be a modifier (Bonus food, resources, etc.) and of course there were instant-win codes in some games but you'd pick n choose ;)
1) Fires: Super problematic, especially if you'd forgotten wells like me and you've built a . . . thriving metropolis with lots of building packed together. Solution when a fire starts in the center? Schedule for demolition every house around the burning one. Works better if you fire all your builders at the same time. Demolishing houses don't seem to count as flammable?
2) Women live longer than men: Not in game actually, but remember that one old fogie who lost their spouse 20 years ago and has kept their house in their grubby hands without producing any "new citizens"? Schedule the house for demo, then undo it. The old person is kicked out and has to go live elsewhere, while a happy new, fertile, couple moves in.
3) Markets: Markets are just an exploit, build them.
4) Trading Rivers: This is a conditional exploit, it assumes you have mods installed that allow to manipulate some aspects of terrain. You can totally "block" part of the trading river instead of building bridges, lazy butt, and the trader will just keep rowing down the river through the new strip of land.
5) Lakes: Same as number 4, certain mods only, if you can raise up lake beds you have enabled easy mode. Noobs will make lake borders straight as to fit more water-front buildings. Pros will build strips of land across lakes, with buildings on either side of the strip and a road down the middle, and bam, you fit like 50 fishing buildings on one lake.
6) Farms sizes: Some try hard somewhere with an over-priced math degree and too much time on their hands calculated the most efficient farm size is something like 11x11 for 2 educated and tooled citizens. What that means to me is that 12x12 with 3 people is the way to go when you down have great tools or education.
7) Late game burnout: Getting bored towards late game? Not enough to do? ♥♥♥♥♥ please, Colonial Charter Mod is the only way to fly. It includes that geography manipulation tools, adds infinite new resources, and something to occupy yourself with until you easily pass 1000 pops, it also includes easier difficulties and harder ones (Adam and Eve Start, only 2 pops! LOL)
Wow. I'm sorry for whoever hurt you so that you feel the need to uselessly insult others. I also feel sorry for you. You must be terribly embarrassed by this awful post you made. It really hasn't aged well. If you don't have something nice to say, take a long hard look in the mirror and analyze why that might be.
