- Then locate the folder where you installed Banished. This should normally be the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Banished\. Or a other location where Banished is installed.
- The installation folder of Banished contains a folder named "WinData", in this folder has to be copied the downloaded file (mod_name.pkm).
- Start Banished.
- From the main menu select the button mods.
- In the Mod List is now the downloaded Mod. To activate the mod, you must click on the Enable button.
- Then click OK. This mod is loaded, the game must be restarted, confirm the following dialog with Yes.
- After the restart of the game the MOD should be there.
If your problem still occur than I suggest to make a fresh install of Banished.
I have considered trying this, but I'd prefer to avoid manual downloads... I am attempting to download them from the workshop. I have steam interlay in-game enabled, and in-game downloads enabled. I have tried subscribing to the mods just on the Steam application without the game open, and have tried searching the workshop for mods directly from the "Mods" menu in Banished.
If there are no other ways, I will definitely use this, thank you. But, again, I would really prefer a fix for the automated Workshop download. Thanks
