Steam or GoG?

You get a DRM free version from GoG I think, so you can let a friend try the game without giving him access to your steam account. Streaming your library on steam can do almost the same but you can't play the game at the same time.

Yeah, I didn't know if there was anything special on Steam for the game vs GoG.

On Steam you get access to beta updates if you enable it. That's why i waited a 50% off here before buying it.

If you live in the EU it's actually a bit cheaper on gog, who also have a summer sale going on atm. Banished is during the whole sale 50% off. That's currently 9,99€ here vs. $9,99 on gog[www.gog.com] which is roughly 7,35€. (:
