Quarry is not being build

The quarry was placed for builiding quite some distance from my village. I also placed a mine there, which was built. But for the querry it took forever until they even got rid of all stones / tress on the quarry building ground. Now the quarry building ground is finally there, but nothing happens. They are not bringing resources to it. I have all necessary resources. I have enough builders and labours. I tried to use the prioritize tool, didn't work. I'm running out of ideas and it starts to piss me off. Also the coal from the mine is not collected.

I just figured out that I can select the builders busy with the building when clicking on the builing and the hammer icon. If I jump to the builders, they are idle and doing nothing...

I had the same problem when building a mine in my current game. I had the necessary resources, but the builders and laborers were idling, and nobody was working on the building. I'm not sure why, but after some time, they eventually decided to start working on it.

I agree..sometimes the place where you want to build something is to far away from the villagers homes, try to create a sub village nearby =)
