A Fatal Error has occurred in Runtime-steam-x64.dll and the game cannot contiue!

Can someone walk me through this fix? I have the steam version, and I am not very pc savoy. Game saves continue to crash, Ive been playing for awhile and this just started. It might be one of the mods I added, but not sure which one.

i get these occasionally, but not often (i am playing the beta version)..
I've never heard of any fix. I figure the problem could be with either steam or banished, or both. Fortunately for me I can just reload from the last auto-save without issue every time.

This happens occassionally to me too, although I remember it being much more often under earlier versions. Although annoying, I got round the impact by setting my autosave timer to 1 minute, then reloading the last autosave - then 1 minute of game times is the worst I lose, but most of the time its ends up being much less than, sometimes nothing at all depending on when the error hits.

I can go into a saved game but when I want to make a new one, it dosn't make it, it just crashes every time.

I believe it was an incompatible Mod for me - I removed the Old Growth Forest and it stopped crashing. Im still playing with other Mods and so far acting ok.
