Fatal Error, Failed to allocate memory

So im having a issue with this game saying it cant allocate memory and that i may have too many mods (I only have 1 mod and it was saying this even before i downloaded the mod) or its just an error, and right now its seeming like this is just an error.

is there any way to fix this since its seeming like this just isnt wanting to work

Try reinstalling the game. That usually fixes any problems I encounter.

i did that 3 times already, tells me that every time

Have you tried entirely restarting Steam?

yes, cuase i dont have proper internet access ihave to start and restart steam to get online all the time

make sure you are launchin the right version, make a direct shortcut to the exe
on a Win64 OS, launch \SteamApps\common\Banished\Application-steam-x64.exe
on a Win32 OS, launch \SteamApps\common\Banished\Application-steam-x32.exe

you still need steam to be running, but at least you can be sure the right version is started.
Also, if running a Win64 OS, then 4GB RAM is the absolute minimum, in other words the hardware must be less as 10 years old and not be some crappy laptop :)
Oh and make sure you dont have any spyware and such gobbling up resources.
