Build multiple trading posts if you want more traders to visit.
If you use the ordering system, you have to remember to change the dropdown box to either "Just Once" or "Every Time". Also, you pay more for goods you order v.s. stuff they bring at random.
I don't fully understand the automatic trading options. So I never use them.
When buying seeds, you only need 1 seed of each type.
If you buy animals/livestock, they hang out in the trading dock until you allocate a herdsman and pasture for them. Then they eventually walk over to the pasture. They'll die if they stay in the trading dock too long.
