Is PlayOnMac safe to get?
I really want to get this game, but I am playing on a mac. I found a program called playonmac and I think it is worth getting, does anyone have any background knowledge with it?

Patience. The dev is working on a mac version.
And if that doesn't work, try bootcamp. (you need windows in some form, xp should do)
That is how I used to play banished on my mac.

Don't know playonmac...

In case you haven't got an answer so far: it works very well on my MBP with PlayOnMac. I set it up using this step-by-step instructions and have not had any problems so far: http://banished-wiki.com/wiki/Tutorials/Banished_on_Mac_and_Linux
