How do I get fire wood?

I am new to the game and I have noticted that I cam get logs but no fire wood. Is there a way to gather fire wood and not building logs? Thank you.

You need to build a Woodcutter to chop logs into fire wood.

You gotta make the building.

Firewood is more than just logs, Its a processed good, kindling that needs to be cut so that it can catch fire.

Thank you. I built the wood cutter building and still did not get fire wood. I must be doing something wrong but have not figured it out yet. I really enjoy the game till all my people die on me. LOL!
