So far I've explored all the options in the building menu and decided to just start building the things I know and gradually expand with new stuff. And lots of Googling (luckily there are many answers on specific questions like domesticated animals). Just the fact that hunters now kill ducks and I get to have a Grape Forester and a small trading post and new fruits and veggies is already awesome.
