What items would be considered as miscellaneous?

In Colonial Charter and MegaMod, Whale Blubber, Tallow, Feathers, Silkworm Eggs and White Mulberry Leaves are also Miscellaneous.

well, it's a flag that any modder can set on an item. They could make up a new item tomorrow and assign it the "misc" flag.
It all depends on which mods you are using. I think the base version of the game does not have any "misc" items.
RK has a cart that will collect all misc items until it is full. That would be one way to find out for sure what items in your mods are misc!

Go to the blackliquid site. Under the Search in Forums option look for Banished General. Under Banished General look for General MegaMod Discussions and select it. On page 2 of the forum you will find a subject entitled "MegaMod 8 - Mods included. This is a PDF file you can download and will give you a list of all the stuff included in MM8.

I know that in MM8, things like fodder and fertilizer get stored in miscellanous warehouses, too. As well as tallow, blubber and bonemeal. I don't know about white mulberry leaves or silkworm eggs as I don't produce them.
