HELP Looking for tips for Town layout
How should I position all the buildings?
I am under the belief that you should have farms/pastures outside the circle of the market and that barns and stockpiles shouldnt be in them either and that market vendors will travel to any barns/stockpiles on map to get the resources they need and that only houses and a woodcutter/blacksmith/tailor should be within the market ring? Is this all correct?
And how far apart should I Have my markets? should the rings be touching?

Sorry Im a big Noob and just trying to get better. Ill appreciate any help! <3

If you didn't put farm and stockpiles and barns inside a market radius, you will be wasting a ton of space lol. I have a guide called The Achievement Path, Hints and tips for the Beginner and Intermediate Player. In it I detail the trading post, along with the Markets relationship with houses.

In response to your questions right now. Have as many markets as you can support. Doesn't matter if the radius overlaps. Yes to building the woodcutter, blacksmith and tailor. Yes to building a school with every new market . As for distance, Place your markets where you need them, If you are building a new zone, then you want to use the market to support more than one production , gathering hut/forestry hub, mining or quarry, or both, There are no hard and fast rules about the market, other than your houses always need to be inside a market zone. Your industries, like mining forestry, do not need to be inside a market radius, but it doesn't matter if they are.
