HELP! Lazy tailors!

Playing on hard with the Colonial Charter mod...

My villagers are producing hundreds of leather; hundreds of feathers and reeds too. All in storage RIGHT NEXT to the Tailor. Yet the tailors will only produce ~8 clothes/year. The materials vanish but nothing is being produced.

Everyone's clothes say "ragged", but no one actually freezes during Winter. And the Tailor's shop never indicates that they can't work. There's a surplus of tools, and they're all educated -- so I really can't see the problem, unless it's some kind of bug.

I've tried both the leather clothes and the feather/reed clothes;
I've tried stopping production and restarting.
Relocating.
Having multiple buildings.

Went through 25 in-game years before I decided to stop fussing with it. Didn't even get to a point where I could obtain wool to try that.

Can anyone explain what's happening? I'd love to know what I'm doing wrong, thanks!

Are you using Colonial Charter 1.76 - the most recent version? Does your Clothing limit need to be upped? Check to see if Clothing is going into Trading Posts.

I'm using the most recent version, the clothing limit is at 50. I've set it to 150, 250, etc in attempt to fix.

When I check the Town Hall, it tells me only 2-8 clothes are being produced per year. Every year.

Hmm. Tried a new save and the Tailor worked fine. Not sure what happened before, but I'm glad my game isn't broken

You ahd a French tailor in the previous game, and he spent most of his time on strike? ;)
(And before anyone screams about stereotypes, I'm French, so I feel like I am allowed to poke fun at myself and people around me :P)
