mod suggestion - brick houses

I note that basic houses are build with wood, stone, and lumber. None use brick. Is anyone interested in doing abasic housing mod using brick instead of stone?

Red Ketchup's Little Housing mod for 1.0.7 has houses that can be made from bricks. You can download it from WorldofBanished.com.

I think you'll also need to grab a mod that actually lets you make the bricks to go with that. Same if you want to use the lumber houses of that mod. Or you can just wait for the traders to bring some and order more for all his next trips to your town.

EDIT Thank you both. I installed the the house mod. transprency tech, cool! Loaded it, started a game. I note the brick symbol RK uses is different from the CC176 brick symbol. Are the bricks made by cc175/6 flagged as the same resource RK's brick houses need?

I don't know if the flags are the same. At one time RK used the Stone flag while CC uses the Construction flag. However I believe both types of bricks are recognized as bricks when you want to build a brick house, road or whatever. I'll ask RK :)

Got an answer back from RK, Brick in both his current mods and in CC use the Construction flag and both are the same thing.

Yes, I just developed my village to the point of having CC bricks - attempted to build RK brick houses (nice models!) - they do work. I confirm what you discovered. Thank you. BTW, the image of bricks in the stockpiles - from RK - is nicer - IMHO - than the CC one. :)

You might have been noticing the rooftile icons, they're quite easy to mistake for bricks at first glance with how small the icons are. ^^

The 3 story multilevel houses from RK are undoubtably one of the best things I've seen in banished mods though, I love them haha. Lots of customisation options on them too which is nice!

SO true. First story can be store, school, hospital, so many choices! awesome houses...
