What happens with 2 Trading Posts?
I thought when I built a Trading Post, it wouldn't let me build another one like a Town Hall. So if you do build 2 Trading posts, will the trader leave the 1st one and then stop at the 2nd one right after?

Oh ok, that makes sense.

Each Trade post gets his own merchant. So the more of them you have, the more often you see merchants in your town. The only issue is keeping them all stocked so you always have enough to buy what you need/want wherever the right trader shows up.

every tradingpost recieves it's own traders, so if you want to trade a lot you need a lot of tradingposts. but you have to configure them each.

edit: strange i saw no answers so i thought i answer here, after that i see its already answerd :/

Consider adding specific types of trade posts when you have specific needs. I always add the trade post that seeks seeds and livestock so I can more quickly have a variety of foods to grow. If you use only the general trade post you could have several merchants in a row that offer neither seeds or livestock.

The only livestock I need is cattle and a few more seeds. I have to get my food production up because I've been close to starvation once.
