Very small playerbase but it's possible to find a server. You can also play with AI bots as a sort of makeshift singleplayer.
Its pretty much just your average bot server, except you can only get the "Playing Offline" medal if I'm not wrong.
2. There is no singleplayer mode in usual sense, you can play online or offline with bots (local play) or Squad defence
Nowadays the action is a lot more consistent with bots but always fun to wait and see if a few more players join to make it more interesting.

steamcharts player numbers for verdun. Bear in mind all those guys are in a single server. so id say you get like 30ish people on during peak gaming hours. Game is still worth buying. Also there;s not a single player mode... BUT... they do have bots.
If you play during or around peak hours its still well worth it
As a flamethrower player I absolutely love making people believe its overpowered only for the people saying that to hop in and get mad at how weak it is lol
