Despite flat characters, odd mistakes, 2kewl special effects, eternal shakycam and gopros strapped to literally everything I found it pretty enjoyable.

Our World War is the primary reason I bought this game.

I kinda liked the story but disliked the film choices, disliked a lot of the camera angles and music :P

Sadly reading that is gonna make me skip over this unless I'm really high.

If you're curious about the politics of the start, BBC also did a miniseries called 37 days. I thought it definitely biased the history, but it was very well done. It's not on netflix but you can find it online if you just search.

I liked the story but they failed to capture the scale of battle. The battle action was at times unrealistic. The camera angles were poorly done. I only watched the first episode, but after that I doubt ill watch more. Band of Brothers is a much better mini tv series in my opinion.

First one caught it right. BEF was heavily out numbered in 1914, but did put up a tough fight.

I'll try and get around to watching it the next time I re-activate netflix, assuming it'll be available in Germany.
There's simply not enough content to warrant a constant subscription at this point, so I subscribe and watch in bursts.

Crimson fields was good as well, a take on the British medical station behind the lines. BBC has axed it though and it never got past 1914 :(

Personally Love these and wish more would have been done, more from other nations would of been amazing and brought it to life.
