yup, had this happen today. It's a pity, it was the best hardcore ww1 game. Sadly WW1 is simply not marketable unless you're already an established giant and take the ww1 feeling out of the game.

I'd keep playing if there was some reward for endlessly dying.

Also, it would be more realistic to redo the game to depict trench raids rather than a mass offensive - that way it makes sense that experienced snipers with better kit and who know every inch of ground can keep picking you off.

Nobody is playing because they never added DEDICATED SERVERS! Same problem is happening with Isonzo. If you want to stand out against the crowd you need to add CONSUMER FRIENDLY OPTIONS. Allowing dedicated servers means that the lights can NEVER GO OUT! Why am I going to invest in an indie multiplayer shooter when I'm not sure it's going to take off. Without dedicated servers at some point you're going to look at the cost of keeping your servers up and it will eventually hit the point where you'll SHUT THEM DOWN and then that's it. Game over.

Not going to invest. If you're an indie dev and want people to invest in your game, add dedicated servers. Anything else is anti-consumer. Just look at what happened with The Crew. Oh you paid $60 for that game, well we're tired of keeping the servers up too bad so sad buy the new one.

I log on pretty often and seems there's ever only like 3-5 people playing. I'd play more often for sure if there were ever people on. I love the game but then again I'm a history nerd so maybe that's why
