Also, it would be more realistic to redo the game to depict trench raids rather than a mass offensive - that way it makes sense that experienced snipers with better kit and who know every inch of ground can keep picking you off.
Not going to invest. If you're an indie dev and want people to invest in your game, add dedicated servers. Anything else is anti-consumer. Just look at what happened with The Crew. Oh you paid $60 for that game, well we're tired of keeping the servers up too bad so sad buy the new one.
