Pioneer 1916 Uniforms are inaccurate
Back in testing i had tried to pitch in a slight change for the 1916 uniform, and this change was to add the Totenkopf sleeve badge. Normally I wouldnt care if this squad wasnt labeled Garde-Reserve-Pioniere, but since they are, this needs to be corrected in my opinion. Not only because it would be historically accurate, but it would be neat to see the badge above your cuff as a Pioneer. Now i know the emblem for their squad type is the Totenkopf already, but that really doesnt count for accuracy. If anyone else supports this for historical accuracy, please comment your thoughts. (legitimate and positive comments only please)

if it's legit i'd support
i dont know tho
Just a side question: What's the point in posting in a discussion board if you just want everyone to rubberstamp what you are saying? I've noticed that this is the second time you have made a topic that has ended in the same way. Ending posts by prohibiting others from disagreeing with you is not conducive to a real discussion, so don't expect this discussion to go very far.

I'm not saying people cant disagree, but rather dont be a d-bag about it. Ive seen it too much to respect those kind of low life individuals

I fully support l4dtankman's proposal, though I think that something like this is probably far down on the list of things that the devs are looking at right now (more focused on bug fixing and performance optimization right now).

Yes. These exactly.

I know I mentioned the same before testing, that these particular pioneers wore totenkopf badges on their sleeves. I would have imagined they would be included on their uniforms. When I got into testing, I saw that they were not. I didnt want to start a discussion over it since it was just a minor detail among all the weapon balance threads and gore discussions. I thought it was just something the devs missed and could easily remedy when people pointed it out. I guess not. But its not too late! By the way, have they given us those NCO cuffs yet? x)

Also, the regimental numbers on the pickelhaube across the Imperial German Army were green, not red. They were red up until 1914 though.

*Derp edit for pickelhaube spelling

My guess would be that these things will be corrected for the upcoming historic mode.

Those are them. As of right now, the current pioneer uniform almost hints away from the G-R-P-R and more towards Assault Battalion No.5 Rohr. Although Rohr did get some Totenkopfs, they mostly wore a red # 5

Yeah, they changed the colour a month into the war IIRC. So level 1 squads should all get red regimental numbers, and as soon as you become a level 2 squad, it is changed to green regimental numbers? And then later theres the helmets without numbers and spike, and then finally the stahlhelm.

You're right. I thought it was before the war, but it was just under a month into it, in August 1914.
