G98 or Kar98AZ?
So, I can hit super well with the G98 close ranges, but I can't hit enemys in medium or long ranges, but with the Kar98AZ I can't even hit enemys in close ranges cause the bullets just fly through the enemys 100% but I can hit every single enemy in medium ranges and long. So any advice?

You're missing at close range? Are you hipfiring or using the sights?

Also it's worth turning off your mouse acceleration in your Windows control panel too, that'll make your aim more consistent.

Wichever you prefer to use or you feel you are not good at.

P.S. remember that the game has a really bad hit detection so it's is surely not only your fault if you are bad on something.

I had problems with the k98 at first, too. Still hate the G98.
You'll get used to where to put the target after a while and learn to love the open sights as I and many others have.

I much prefer the G98 because the Kar98 is to easy to use.

I think I've been shift aiming too much, I felt like I couldn't use the k98 anymore and I just didn't hit shift once on a few rounds of squad defense and I feel better about it now.

Depends on what kind of style you like to do. The G98 is the most accurate gun in game and so is better for long range and medium range but is weak at close range. Now the K98 is gray at close range good at medium range and decent at long range (but not at good as the G98). In the end I would recommend using the K98 due to the fact it's overall easier to use.

G98 is my personal favorite. I find the sights to be kind of bad on the K98AZ, but thats just me. Heck, I like the Kar 88 and G88 better than I like the Kar 98.

Okei but how do you hit enemys far with the G98? I have been playing all day and I still can't. I only mastered Short and Medium range.

G98 was the most used up until 1917 but I would suggest training with both and use them for there intended use

I am using both of them, I can even snipe with the Kar98AZ. Also I would like to know what was used after 1918 for the Central powers.

There was no 'Central powers' after Treaty of Versailles.
The K98 was used up to and including the start of WW2. Springfield, Enfield, and Moisin Nagant were as well in updated forms
