What's the difference between all the audio modes?
I switched from Stereo to Prologic (on headphones) and it seems to sound a lot better now (more immersive). How about the other modes? Are their pros and cons to each?

I can't tell the difference between them. I have a surround sound headset and it all sounds the same.

I've tried asking a similar question and didn't get any good responses. The audio options are poorly explained, so I'm just using the one that has the same amount of channels as my headphones.

Yes I'd like to see what Audio selections people use along with what speaker or headset set-up they use. Because audio varies between people greatly hearing alot of personal preferences would help.

So basically I did some very basic research over what Prologic is. All that I can really tell is that its like a false (Well its more imitated than false) surround sound alternative to Stereo thru Dolby 5.1 or similar. I had mine on Stereo and switched the option to Prologic and it does seem to have a bit more depth to the audio; I noticed a large difference in the weapon and voice in Champange Frontlines.

I'm using Turtle Beach X12 (Stereo not Surround) with no additional input devices. My only suggestion is that if it sounds better and doesn't reduce or prevent certain sounds; then do it.

Am no sound technician but the sound that I do love is of money rolling in the counting machine. ;)

Generally, you want to match it to your audio chip and/or output device specs. My headset is a simulated 7.1, so 7.1 is where I set it. Standard audio is Stereo as usual, and anything special would be something that should be figured out through Google. I say Google since audio settings in video games are usually assumed to be known, or are a case-by-case scenerio based on the output device (ie a piece of info left to the audio industry to explain) which leads me back to my first few sentences.
