Magic ^
Verdun is a niche game that has infrequent content updates, bugs, and a variety of other issues. Aside from that the game has limited replayability. There isn't much to grind towards or any sort of achievement hunting or ranking system that you can work. While I personally don't believe Verdun is a very complicated game it would appear that the game has a relatively steep learning curve and new players often have to play with highly skilled and experienced players. This results in what is usually a pretty unenjoyable experience.
With all this considered it's not suprising Verdun always had and always will have a small playerbase.
Besides, the smaller the better. You'll run into people more often and make friends.
We have.
Verdun was indeed one of the most costly battles in the First World War with many French and German men dieing in it ,but not every prospective buyer will initially have ever heard of the battle . So I think a more general title should have been used that reflected the whole WW1 timeline .
But as a gaming experience , it is quite unique and extremely challenging and I will try to spread the word amongst my friends .
