Really interested in game, FPS issues?

This game ticks all my boxes. Browsing the forums and discussion threads I've noticed some folks talking of stuttering and low FPS after most recent patch. Can anyone speak to this? I have a gtx 970 and i7 2600k. Also preview videos on store page seems to be running at a low framerate. Should I buy?

Thanks for the info. But thats what interested me to ask the questions, was your graphics card. It's Passmark score is roughly 3x my own, scary good. I will do this, to squash it, am going to buy the game simply run it and if it can't do good, then refund it. Thanks
